What can an infidelity test tell me?

Through our testing services we are able to confirm or exclude the presence of male or female DNA in a stain or on the surface of an object that has raised your suspicions.

At an additional cost, once we obtained DNA profiles, we will also be able to compare the profile obtained from the stain to another sample from the alleged source of that stain. By doing this we can tell you whether the DNA in the stain belongs to the person you suspect is the donor of that DNA or to another person.

Forensic samples

Infidelity testing can take place with a range of samples including semen stains, blood stains, uses tooth brushes, Kleenexes and cigarette ends.

We suggest reading our forensic DNA testing/discreet samples page to get more information about different types of DNA samples.

Note that homeDNAdirect may not accept samples not listed on our discreet samples page. We always suggest calling us to discuss the viability of your sample, packaging and shipment. Sending samples to homeDNAdirect without a prior appraisal of the sample is not recommended.

We appreciate the delicate nature of these cases, and therefore we will treat your case with the necessary discretion. If you are interested in ordering an infidelity DNA test we suggest your contact us to discuss your samples- we may be able to suggest alternative samples or options.

Need a paternity test

If following an infidelity test, you feel the need for further re-assurance, we suggest a paternity test.
